Venus
Venus is one of the founding agency members of Now Available Africa. She is a member of the agencies Management Team and Director of Business and Corporate Communications. Venus has played an integral role in growing the agency from a start-up new market entrant to a leading multi award-winning Pan African Advertising Communications Agency that leads in Digital, Integrated Communications and Behavioural Change in Africa. Her journey at Now Available Africa begun as Clients Serice Director and she has evolved into roles that directly support the evolution of the company; building new internal functions, transforming culture, driving business growth, increasing brand recall and capacity by building internal capabilities and bringing business and partnerships to the agency. Within Industry she is known as Hybrid - CreatBizMind - someone who bridges the gap between the Creative, Business and the Digital/Tech space.
At a time when most businesses and indeed the Ghanaian advertising industry only focused on traditional advertising, Venus advocated for brands to incorporate digital and technology into their line of work. She has been instrumental in securing clients to transition into the digital world and her efforts through her work and collaborations with Industry leaders have contributed to Understanding, Adoption and Recognition of digital within the Advertising space and beyond.
She is Co-Chair of the Digital Foundation Africa and Champions @GetHerAfrica (an initiative that empowers Women with Digital Skills and Entrepreneurial training), Committee Member of Advertising Association Ghana, Associate Member of CIMG, a Fencer on Ghana's National Fencing Team and an active member of The Executive Women’s Network (EWN). She is also an award-winning accessories designer, owner of SuneV Couture the FashionGhana.TV ‘Most Creative Accessory Brand in Ghana’ and Tertiary Ghana Fashion Awards ‘Most Influential Accessories Brand’.
