Ima Peter is an award-winning corporate communications professional with over 20 years of experience and a proven track record of delivering successful communication strategies across, financial services, IT and healthcare industries, for some of the world's most recognised brands, such as Anglo American, Samsung, Milken-Motsepe Innovation Prize Program, Standard Bank, Anglo American, Tiger Brands, Investec, Milken-Motsepe Prize, Research In Motion (BlackBerry) Red Hat, Deloitte, Accenture, Dimension Data | NTT Data, Rand Refinery and the Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU) Canback, amongst others.

She is currently Head of Corporate | Business Unit Director at Razor PR, named Africa PR Agency of the year and Diamond Superior Achievement in Reputation Management by the Provoke Sabre Awards 2022. Her focus is on delivering high impact campaigns which deliver real business results, building strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders.

One of her notable contributions to the public relations industry was being a Judge/Jury for the 2023 Young Changemakers Awards, Provoke Media. She is actively involved in mentoring young professionals, helping to develop the next generation of communications leaders.

She holds a National Diploma in Public Relations from the University of Johannesburg, as well as certificates in Digital Communications from Ketchum University in the UK and Digital Marketing from Red & Yellow Creative School of Business, Udemy Academy, and AAA School of Advertising. She also completed a Leadership Development Programme at the University of Free State Business School.

She has held a variety of positions across corporate and agency, functioning as Head of Content Marketing and Group Account Director for several agencies and leading the PR division for Samsung/Cheil SA. In these roles, she has successfully led and managed teams of varied sizes and has delivered a number of high-profile campaigns.
