I am an inspiring marketing leader with a longstanding and consistent record of excellence in leadership and technical execution. I have successfully developed and led the strategic and tactical execution of disruptively creative marketing campaigns, that have delivered stellar business results. My record of excellence is evidenced by the turnaround and steady growth of brands that have been under my management, and the multiple awards I have received across all my different roles. Some notable awards include the Global CEO Award from Vivo Energy, the MD recognition award from Diageo GB, the CEO recognition award from Kenya Breweries Limited, Best Experiential Campaign from Marketing Society of Kenya (MSK), among multiple other recognitions.

I have gained international experience, having worked in the UK and in Kenya. I have played a key role in driving strong business performance across all my roles by leveraging on my innate strengths of building high trust relationships with diverse stakeholders, while simplifying execution and energising teams. This has played a key role in my successful turnaround of declining brands such as Smirnoff which went from a decline of -8% to strong double-digit growth. I am also credited with the reviving of Kane Extra brand which was on a steep 5-year decline. I am a passionate leader and have extended my leadership beyond my professional career by contributing to the community through my philanthropic interests, supporting community youth projects, and investing in the coaching of aspiring Marketing professionals in the industry.

I hold a Bachelor of Science in Business Strategy, and Information Technology from the University of South Wales (Cardiff, UK), and an MBA in Global Executive Business Management from United States International University (USIU-Africa in partnership with American University). I have also undertaken multiple and diverse technical and leadership courses in the course of my career.
