Lord crash-landed into advertising, intending only to pass time before finding a “proper job.” Nearly a decade later, the industry is still stuck with him. He specializes in turning universal human truths into campaigns that seamlessly blend culture and commerce. His work has been recognized across Africa, earning industry accolades. With a mix of wit and creative mischief, he crafts ideas that trigger emotion, provoke thought, and drive action across multiple channels. These ideas have shaped campaigns for brands like Vodafone, Dove, Closeup, Orijin, Johnnie Walker, Uber, Coca-Cola, and Mastercard Foundation, among others.
He likes to do new things and frequently goes down the road less traveled when he gets to crossroads. A curious lifelong learner, his WhatsApp display picture reads, “Every day I Learn That I Know Nothing,” even though his friends give him grief for it. He channels the rest of his mischief into satirical pieces on his blog and will read just about anything or take a trip —mostly to have interesting stories to tell while standing in a corner, drink-in-hand, at a party.
